A fellow Chiropractor in my city just hired me to
help him yesterday with his practice. He is presently 3 months behind on rent
payments, has serious cashflow problems..... but is extremely busy
in his practice!
I just finished a very successful seminar in Phoenix recently and unfortunately heard
alot of the same stuff from many of the Doctors that were attending. Many
Doctors were only concerned with patient visits and volume, without being
concerned about being seriously behind in cashflow.
It's almost like attending a Parker Seminar in Las Vegas where the speakers say how
"everyone loves Chiropractic and practices are booming across the
country...Yipee!"
In my travels across the country, I don't see it.
The Parker Seminars always make me laugh because only 10% of the population sees
Chiropractors. Don't get me wrong, treating patients is the greatest
thing....but you have to be a business person to grow your practice, and
many Chiropractors are not.
A number of Doctors have called me from the seminar still trying to decide if they want
to improve their practice. They are so paralyzed from being beat up by
Insurance, patients and Attorneys, they have chosen to do nothing......Good Decision!
Unfortunately, many Chiropractors are unwilling
to be helped. Many of them have their head "buried in the sand"
expecting things to get better as they slowly go out of business. Its sad I
know, but some Doctors are "un-teachable" and will fail based on their unreal
ideas of what present day practice entails.
Below are some wrong ideas that I see used across the country and that if done by the
Chiropractic Doctor, assures quick failure in practice.

Do Lots Of ASHN and Managed Care.
ASHN Guarantees Cashflow Problems!
Its so much fun doing the idiotic reports that ASHN requires you to do! This Doctor I'm
helping in my area is on the Top Level of ASHN. He gets automatic visits with
each patient that he see's. Of course ASHN doesn't pay shit, but it doesn't
matter! He is busy with patient visits and likes being busy! Who cares about
money anyway.
Ask Patients For Money On Each Visit

hence they will refer nobody.....Welcome to hell!
Don't Start An AutoDebit Program
Who cares if all the multi-Billion dollar corporations, banks and even the govenment use
Autodebit. You know better! And you personally don't like Autodebit so why would
any of your patients want to pay this way?
Of course almost all your patients already use Autodebit for their personal bills,
but you don't believe that so you will continue to operate your practice like
it was 20 years ago because those were the good times and you don't want to
operate your practice in reality....2011. Hello McFly?
